Amanda Goicovic, born in 1991, is a textile artist from Chile, based on the south of France. Her work dialogues between modernity and tradition, work and material culture and the debate around the division between art and crafts. She is a PhD student in visuals arts at Paul Valery University.

Her work focuses on the place of technique in the history of art and in particular in textile art. She embroiders to the rhythm of her hand in order to oppose the rhythms of the machine, contemporary rhythms subjected to the speed of technology.
